As it says on the label, we foot-stomped the grapes like “I Love Lucy”. We did this so that the wine would spend some time on its skins instead of being pressed away immediately like some of the almost clear-colored white wines you are familiar with. It spent eight days sitting in tanks with its skins, which added that beautiful golden color and honey notes. We think of it as our golden nectar with notes of honeycomb, ripe pear, and a lively saline finish.
