Our flagship wine, these merlot grapes are harvested from our best rows and left on the vine a couple of weeks longer than the pet nat and chillable merlots. They are pressed and cellared in old French Oak for 12 months while the tannins mature and soften and the dark fruit emerges. Merlot is a traditional grape from Bordeaux, and we are very happy to have made a wine that can compete with some of the best wines in New York state and who knows, maybe someday even Bordeaux…
