Petillant Naturel is a sparkling wine made in what is called the ancestral method. The wine is put into the bottle before it is finished fermenting, capturing the remaining carbon dioxide (bubbles) in the bottle. This differs from champagne, where there is a second fermentation process where there is sugar and yeast (the dosage) added after the initial fermentation. Our Pet Nat is 100% Merlot grown on our vineyard. You’ll taste spring strawberries and fresh cream with a light effervescence and bright acidity. Perfect as an aperitif or for an afternoon outside with friends.
